I’m Kyle Wahl, a former professional baseball player and the founder of The Rooster.

I started The Rooster to cover the stories that get sports fans talking—from major trades and breakout players to the decisions that shape a season.

You’ll find news, analysis, and my take on what’s happening across professional and college sports. My experience as a player shapes how I see the game, but my curiosity goes well beyond baseball.

The Rooster is an independent sports website and isn’t affiliated with any team or league.
